Questions QA teams ask first
Does COA Proof test or certify my products?
No. COA Proof checks laboratory documents against the specifications you set. It is not a laboratory, and it does not test, certify or approve products. A person on your team decides every lot.
What happens when the AI is unsure?
A value reaches the rules only if the reads agree at high confidence, or a person confirms it in Needs Review. If the document itself cannot decide a limit, such as an LOQ above the limit or a missing serving weight, the finding is marked inconclusive and the lot goes to a person.
Will this get my product through Amazon?
COA Proof is not affiliated with Amazon. The TIC readiness check tells you what in your documents would hold up a review, and “Ready for TIC review” means only that. The TIC runs its own review and testing.
How does it spot a doctored COA?
It looks for edit traces in the PDF, bytes added after a signature, report numbers and chromatograms reused across lots, and checks the lab against the registry. These are signals for a reviewer, and a clean file is not proof the report is genuine. You can also open the lab’s own page and record what it shows.
What do shoppers see on a batch page?
The lot’s results against your specification, the lab, the report date and a level: lab-confirmed or document-checked. If you quarantine the lot, the same QR code opens a notice instead.
What happens at my COA or scan limit?
QR codes never stop working. At your COA allowance, uploads pause, and files sent by email or supplier link are kept and read when there is room. Past your scan plan we let you know, and at 20% over, new pages pause.
